wow... It can't be 4 months since i last posted.

But I have a very good reason for letting it slide though...I returned to work and have been doing crazy hours lately.

My little guy is growing up quickly and has 4 teeth now, he's sitting on his own, and has even started pulling his self up to stand. He is trying to crawl, he he starts out on his hands and knees,then drops to his belly and drags himself forward. He now weighs 21 lbs eats Vegetables his fave is peas loves all kinds of fruits but is not too fond of meat yet! Is in size 4 pampers, takes size 12 months in cloths, and is ready for a new car seat, He now enjoys playing with toys and he plays patty cake! We are really looking forward to Christmas, watching him tear into his gifts should be a lot of fun!

Today My little man is 4 months old! and on this date one year ago today I found out I was pregnant!

I bought some rice cereal the other day and I'm thinking about starting him on it today!!!
Dylan's development! well he's is pulling himself into the sitting position. and loves jumping around in his jumpperoo! will be making a video of that soon! and everything goes stright in his mouth, he has his favourite people and when he wants something he has his own way of letting you know!!!
I'm not looking foward to Friday it's needle time again! although he got along great with his first set I still get worried!
Dylan took in his first Parade yesterday and boys oh boys did he enjoyed it!

Wow time is really flying!!!!
My little man will be 4 months old on Saturday. We are having a great summer, the weather has been fantastic!!! lots of beach days... Dylan LOVES the beach/pool. He is now 17 lbs and in size 3 diapers he wears 6-9 month clothing.
Teething has started already! and he is about to start on cereal.

2 months 1 week and 5 days old today!
and he is starting to be a lot of fun! He is getting his own personalty and has a quite the sense of humor, he's is growing like a weed, and I think he's going to be tall, considering how long he is. Day-to-day, we do much the same thing but we're getting out more often he's had his first visits to see his great Aunties, had his first needles, and his first holiday Canada Day. Today is supposed to be nice and warm though, so we'll probably take a walk. oh yeah I've started a new diet. It's the "I have a new baby that won't let me put him down so anything I eat must be able to be prepared and eaten one-handed" diet!!!

I didn't mean to neglect the blog this long, but there's this little guy who's been keeping me very busy.
Motherhood has gone pretty much the way I had imagined it would, constant spit-up endless dirty diapers and piles and piles of laundry, this little dude goes through about 6 outfits a day.

My little man is 8 weeks old, and everyday he amazes me. He has started rolling over, smiling back at me, cooing all the time, he still keeps me up at night I get by on about 4 hrs of sleep a night, He rarely sleeps during the day... thank God for the baby swing and Nana's arms, or I'd get nothing done!

He is messy, but he sure is cute, especially since he started smiling. Makes all that laundry worthwhile!

P.S. I got my hair done today, home dye job gone very wrong... $150.00 and 2 hrs at the hairdresser and still not happy with it!

Well our little sweetheart has arrived and he is perfect!

He was born 2 days before his due date, on April 22, 2009 at 1:05am Weight 7lbs 9.5oz and 20" long.

I promise to post more when things settle down, right now we're having the time of our lives getting to know our little boy!

The last of the belly shots.

Had my Dr.'s appointment today she says I am one centimeter dilated. Her prediction was that I go within 3 days!!! I am so excited she also changed her guesstimate for the baby's weight she thinks he is a good 8 pounds!!! Here's hoping my next post is filled with baby pics,

Today was also the last day at work and the girls surprised me with this beautiful bouquet of flowers

37 Weeks

Well I had my Dr.'s Appointment Yesterday and everything is going well.
She said That the baby has dropped (is engaged) and ready for labour. So Dylan could be arriving sooner rather than later. I am now seeing my Dr. weekly.
We are all getting very excited!!
My Belly now measures 43 inches around!!! a 17 inch growth from my pre-pregnancy waist size. And I have gained 38 pounds. My belly feels like if it gets any bigger it might rip open!!! Stretch marks appeared last month and are multiplying rapidly. :S But I know it will all be worth it.

Well I am 33 weeks. Not much longer now.

I am filled with excitement to met my son but also, very nervous about labour. I had my Dr.'s Appointment yesterday Dylan is still in the birthing position and She says is roughly 4 and 1/2 pounds now ... on queue for about a 7 and 1/2 pound baby. Sounds good to me!! :D Everyone keeps Telling me I will have no problems with labour cause he seems anxious to get out he has been in the birthing position since week 20 and he is very active. Here is a clip of Dylan squirming around. (the movement is really only in the first few seconds.)

It's A BOY !!!

I had my 3D ultrasound today and we found out that we are having a boy!!! I am so excited and Happy. Although I would have been overjoyed for a girl too.

Happy New Year!

A lot has happen since my last post ... I got engaged!!!!

Finally after 5 and half years of dating and 2 years of living together, he finally asked me. My response was ... Of course! We don't have anything written in stone but we are think on labour day weekend in September.

We still don't know the gender of our baby. we find out on Monday but I really think its a boy! We started the nursery and it is pretty boyish. It is Winnie The Pooh themed and blue! We still have a few thing left to do my mom is going to make me a Winnie The Pooh valance, and we need a changing table or dresser.

It is really boyish but if I find out we are having a girl I can always girl it up with some butterfly wall cling instead of the moon and star ones. This room use to be our computer room, and looked like this...

I really prefer it as a nursery! :D So all in all things are great. I really cannot wait to find out the gender of our baby and I will be sure to update as soon as I find out.

It's Storming

3 days til Christmas and it is going to be a white one!!! High winds of 50 to 90km/hr and lots of snow. A fore-casted 40cm, is the weather I am enjoying!!

Storm stayed at Moms. Who just happens to be celebrating her 46th Birthday today. She is an awesome Mom and a great friend . HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!

Anyway I have had my share of food cravings so far in my pregnancy ... first I crave pineapple by the crate full and then it was Kool Aid slushies, But I have consistently craved mozza sticks. Being snowed in and not able to go anywhere I decided to give a recipe I found on cooks.com a try.

They were delicious and totally satisfied my craving!!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This is our 2nd Christmas in our new home but this is the first time we put up a tree we got it on Sunday and decorated it yesterday.

I was over at Mom's on Saturday and we did our x-mas baking more about that over on "What's cooking?"

I got my appointment for the ultrasound that will tell us what we are having it's on January the 5th. I'm so excited!!!

I had my ultrasound the other day ... I found out that I was only a week off for my due date so now I repeating my 20th week. It was pretty amazing to see my little sweetie ...

I cannot wait for April 28th :D Both baby and I are doing great!!!

There is just so much we have to do to get ready for the baby.
Remember I'm starting from scratch here.
We decided to do a little each week. so why not start with the big stuff first.

This weekend we bought the crib and mattress, Jason putting the crib together.

instructions? who needs instructions?

We went with the "Winnie the pooh" theme for the nursery, because it's pretty gender neutral and I always have been a pooh fan!

The first purchase I made was the mobile, Mom said I should play it each day, then after the baby is born and is fussy, just play the mobile and the baby will recognize the tune and it will comfort him/her ...I'm willing to give it a try!

see the stuffed pooh and his friends in the corner of the crib ? my sweet nephew Nate gave them to my baby. :)

following doctor's orders I started to go for daily walks!

The doctor suggested that I should take daily walks. I've been doing just that! But today we (Mom Dad Kelli Nate and Myself) took our annual Autumn walk through the woods at Stanhope. We packed a picnic lunch and spent the whole afternoon there! I was a little disappointed the the colours weren't more vibrant, so that's why I intend on going back later on in the month.

I thought it was time to cut my hair...I think I like it???but I'm not too sure yet?

I've been so busy at work that I haven't had any time to take pics of my bump. But my part time position has ended, I'm back to my on call position, I'll soon have more time to post.

My first Dr. appointment is on Thursday. Hopefully I'll find out my due date then.

I had my first bout of morning sickness on Monday, and felt queezy all week long, I'm tired all the time. Everyone tells me this is normal. My appetite is great, as long as I can eat I won't worry.
